The 1967 Canadian Confederation Gold Coin was issued to commemorate Canada's centennial.

The colony of Canada was divided into Quebec and Ontario, and over time, Canada expanded to include ten provinces and three territories.
This gold coin was part of a commemorative strike prompted by the Royal Canadian Mint, in a limited edition containing .5288 Troy oz of gold content and a symbolic design elevating national pride.
