Minted by the U.S. Mint from 1907 to 1933, the $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin is celebrated as one of the most visually stunning gold coins ever circulated in the United States. 

Famed sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens designed the St.Gaudens Double Eagle, showcasing an elegant depiction of Lady Liberty and a majestic bald eagle in flight. 

It contained 0.9675 Troy ounces of gold and functioned as the official $20 legal tender during its era. These specific coins were produced at the San Francisco Mint and bear the “S” mint mark.
