1907-D NGC MS-61 $5 Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle Coin
The $5 Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle Coin holds significant numismatic value.
The US Mint first struck them in 1839 with a gold content of .24187 oz, designed for regular circulation with legal tender status and a five-dollar denomination.
The production of the Liberty Head Half Eagle continued until 1908.
Many $5 Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle coins were lost during the economic collapse of the 1930s, similar to other Pre-1933 Gold Coins. Due to rising gold prices, these coins were hoarded and melted, enhancing their historical and numismatic value.
Today, SD Bullion offers the 1907-D NGC MS-61 $5 Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle Coin, encapsulated and graded as MS-61 by NGC.

A NGC MS-61 Coin
NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) is a leading third-party coin grading company, using a precise grading scale to assess coin condition.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating an uncirculated coin. A grade of 61 means the coin has minor marks or hairlines but is still attractive overall.
The coins in this listing have been graded MS-61 by NGC and come in protective plastic slabs. These slabs may show light wear, but this does not affect the coin's grade or value.
