The Austrian Mint released the 1892 20 Francs / 8 Florin Austrian Gold Coin Restrike as a commemoration of the 19th-century version of the coin.

This coin is unique for its dual denomination. The coin has a value of 20 Francs and 8 Florin. 20 Franc gold coins were used throughout many European countries and the Austro-Hungarian Empire had first issued gold coins in this denomination in 1870.

The Austrian Coat of Arms is seen on the reverse of the 1892 20 Francs / 8 Florin Austrian Gold Coin. This face also features the face value and year inscribed. The obverse shows a right-facing portrait of Emperor Franz Joseph I, the third longest-reigning monarch in European history. Each coin will ship in individual plastic flips.
