These 10 oz Silver Bullet .50 Caliber Replicas will make marvelous additions to your precious metals portfolios while giving you an accurate bullet replica to show off to your friends.
Even though this bullet can't and shouldn't be loaded onto a gun and fired (purely decorative purposes only), they are very realistic replicas that represent something significant. They can either be displayed for many years to come on your mantelpiece or gifted to those who respect and appreciate their 2nd amendment rights.
About the Design:
This 10 oz .50 caliber replica is modeled after the .50 cal ammo that is housed in the automatic Browning Machine Gun. The .50 BMG ammo round was created for use in the Browning Machine gun during the early 1900's. It was later used in sniper rifles for long distance shooting.
It entered military service officially in 1921 and became reliable ammunition in both single-fire and semi-automatic weapons. The idea for the cartridge came during World War I. The Browning .50 caliber ammo was used in World War II and to this day continues to be used by our military.
This product is American Made and is manufactured with ten troy ounces of pure silver. Markings of the weight and size of the replica can be found at the base of the .50 cal round.
This special version of the .50 replica has the tip plated in 24 KT gold and the remainder plated in Rhodium which give the bullet an extra shine and uniqueness.
