The Standard Obverse Design

Each Truth Series coin is issued under the authority of Niue, a self-governing nation in free association with New Zealand and part of the British Commonwealth.
From the launch of the series through 2023, the obverse featured the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. Following Her Majesty’s passing in 2022, the series transitioned in 2024 to a new obverse showcasing the Coat of Arms of Niue.

The Reverse

The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life depicts a leafy, flourishing tree with deep roots and a sturdy trunk. Below it rests the Hebrew symbol for Yahweh (God). The inscriptions note the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content, while the micro-engraved Scriptural text is hidden among the branches.

The Roaring Lion
The Roaring Lion is shown as a crowned lion mid-roar, representing the Lion of Judah. The Aleph-Tav symbol (את) is engraved on the crown, set against a regal floral background. The coin’s hidden message is micro-engraved on the band of the crown.

The Sword of Truth
The Sword of Truth design features a sword set before a battle shield. As with all Truth Series coins, a hidden Scriptural reference is micro-engraved—this time on the sword’s hilt. The shield bears the Hebrew phrase “רוח קודש,” meaning “Holy Spirit.”
A belt-style inner ring contains the weight, purity, and metal content. A second ring of thorny vines encircles the border, evoking the crown of thorns. When magnified, the sword’s tip can be seen piercing a snake.

The Ram of Calvary
This design presents a close-up depiction of a ram with expressive eyes and prominent horns. The Hebrew lettering “ישוע,” meaning Yeshua (Jesus), appears above the image. Inscriptions along the bottom rim detail the metal content, purity, and weight. A micro-engraved Scriptural message is hidden on one of the horns.
