The Design

The reverse displays the Coat of Arms of Liberia, an African Republic, which ensures the series’ legal tender status. 

In addition to the nation’s name, the coin’s face value, fineness, metal content, and weight read “100 DOLLARS” and “9999 FINE SILVER—5 TROY OZ.”

The obverse design features the first audacious Commander of the series in a left-profile bust. “NAPOLEON” has his name engraved on top, and the mintage “2024” is at the bottom.

As a proof-like coin, its blank background exhibits a brilliant luster, contrasting with the overlapping matte design elements.

NGC - Numismatic Guaranty Company appraises and grades coins independently of sovereign mints, using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranges from 1 to 70.

According to the scale, MS stands for Mint State, referring to coins made as regular strikes business coins that remained uncirculated. 70 is the highest grade on the scale and is attributed to a coin with no visible flaws.
