5 oz Roman Eagle Imp Vespasian Aug Silver Button
The Roman Eagle Silver Button is part of the Roman Empire Collection of Silver Rounds from the Scottsdale Mint. It is a five-ounce round made of .999 fine silver and imprinted with symbols that honor Emperor Vespasian, the remarkable leader of the Roman Empire.
Vespasian ascended to the Roman Throne in 69 AD and, opposing his predecessors, advocated peace by ceasing civil conflicts and investing in infrastructure, including the Colosseum construction. His reign is known as one of the most prosperous and stable in Rome, making Vespasian a legendary leader in the history of Humanity.
Silver rounds can be a cost-effective way to acquire high-quality silver bullion. Because they are not legal tender, they tend to be more affordable than sovereign silver coins.
