2025-(P) NGC MS-69 Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin - Brown Label

In 1986, the US Mint launched the official silver coin of the United States in the bullion market as the inaugural release of the American Eagle Program.

Aiming to inspire coin collecting beyond the numismatic world, the US Mint, in collaboration with Nice Gang, a video game company behind the mobile RPG Eight Era, produced US Silver Eagles in limited issue imprinted with an exclusive privy mark.

The Design

The obverse displays Lady Liberty walking towards the sun with the American flag draped over her shoulder, carrying oak and laurel branches, and a stretched arm to welcome those seeking shelter in the New World.

The year of issuance, the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the bald eagle mark are inscribed as well.

The reverse, designed by Emily Damstra, was included in the 2021 Silver Eagles. It depicts a Bald Eagle perched on a branch with its wings spread. 

It is also inscribed with “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” “FINE SILVER,” and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”

Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70.

MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 69 is attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
