These coins, in particular, are Palladium Eagles from the 2024 strike, purchased on day #1 of their official release. They were issued at the West Point branch and bear the “W” mint mark.

The Design
The obverse showcases the “Winged Liberty,” designed by Adolph A. Weinman to be on the Mercury Dime coin. The design received its moniker because Lady Liberty wears a winged Phrygian cap and is surrounded by the word “LIBERTY.”
It includes the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the artist's initials, the year of mintage, and the “W” mint mark from the West Point branch.
The reverse design showcases a Bald Eagle perched on a cliff edge, holding a branch. It was inspired by the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal reverse.
It also features the words “UNITED STATES of AMERICA,” the coin’s face value “of $25,” the weight and purity reading “1 OZ Pd .9995 FINE,” and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
A PCGS PR-70 Coin
PCGS—Professional Coin Grading Service operates independently of sovereign mints. It evaluates and grades coins using the Sheldon Scale, a grading system from 1 to 70.
According to PCGS, a “First Day of Issue” is a coin purchased from its original mint on the first day made publicly available and submitted to its appraisal.
PR stands for Proof Coin, indicating a coin produced for collection purposes, which exhibits mirror-like surfaces in contrast with frosted design elements. 70 is the highest grade and indicates a coin with no visible flaws.
