This one-ounce 99.95% pure palladium coin showcases timeless U.S. imagery, highlighted by the Winged Liberty design that pays homage to the beloved Mercury Dime.
These coins, in particular, are reverse-proof coins, crafted in the West Point Mint and bearing the “W” mint mark. In addition, they are among those purchased on the first day of their official release and submitted to PCGS appraisal.

The Design
The obverse is a refined version of Adolph A. Weinman's “Winged Liberty,” designed on the Mercury Dime.
The design portrays Lady Liberty’s left profile wearing a winged Phrygian cap. It also displays the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the artist's initials, the year of mintage, and the “W” mint mark from the West Point branch.
On the reverse, Weinman, inspired by the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal, depicts a Bald Eagle perched on a cliff edge, holding a branch.
Additional inscriptions read “UNITED STATES of AMERICA,” the coin’s face value “$25,” the weight and purity “1 OZ Pd .9995 FINE,” and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
A PCGS PR-70 “First Day of Issue” Coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) operates independently of sovereign mints. It evaluates and grades coins using the Sheldon Scale, a grading system from 1 to 70.
According to PCGS, a “First Day of Issue” is a coin purchased from its original mint on the first day made publicly available for acquisition and submitted to PCGS appraisal.
The initials "PF" stand for "Proof Coin," indicating a coin produced for collection purposes. Because it is a reverse-proof coin, the background surfaces are matte, contrasting with the brilliant images engraved. 70 is the highest grade and indicates a coin with no visible flaws.
