The Design

The reverse portrays the Winged Victory, a 17-foot statue atop the monument dedicated to the centennial of the Independence in Mexico City. It also contains the inscriptions “1 ONZA ORO PURO,” “2024,” and “LEY .999,” which stand for weight, metal content, issuance, and purity levels.

The “M” mint mark aside indicated the Mexican Mint issuance.
