The reverse consists of a Ram frontal close-up depiction with sweet-staring eyes and massive horns. 

The Ram is connected to the Lamb or Son of God symbol. It is identified as such by the Hebrew lettering “ישוע” above the animal’s depiction, which means Yeshua (Jesus). 

On this side, the inscriptions inform the coin's weight, purity and metal content through “ONE TROY OUNCE,” “.9999,” and “FINE GOLD.” The hidden message is micro-engraved in its horn.

The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue, the self-governed country associated with New Zealand, which provides these coins with legal tender status.
