The Australian Silver Kangaroos differ from their gold counterpart because their yearly design does not change. It remains a pattern depiction of a hopping Kangaroo inspired by Stuart Devlin’s Australian Copper Penny.

The Silver Kangaroo Design

A hopping Kangaroo left profile is designed in a circle on the reverse side. Besides the marsupial’s depiction, the inscriptions on the borders are “AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO,” referring to the series, and “2024 1 OZ 9999 SILVER,” describing the coin’s year of issuance, weight, metal content, and fineness. The discreet “P” on the right is the Perth Mint mintmark.

The new obverse design consists of King Charles III’s portrait, encircled by “CHARLES III,” “AUSTRALIA,” and “1 DOLLAR.”

The MintCertified™ Sealed Tubes

Each tube comprises 25 brand-new 2024 1 oz Silver Kangaroo Coins. After having the coins selected, certified, and properly housed, the tubes are immediately sealed with a plastic sleeve to protect the coins and the tubes from undesirable contact during packing.
