During the gold rush in Australia, the Perth Mint started its operations in Western Australia in 1899 and played an essential role in the national economic development. Its current activities include minting bullion coins for investment purposes and precious metals collectibles.

These coins were struck in a limited edition of 25,000 pieces. They weigh 1 Troy oz of 99.99% gold and feature an exclusive mint mark for the occasion, the “P125.”

The inscriptions on this side start with the coin’s description of mintage, weight, metal content, and purity engraved on top, reading “2024 1 oz 9999 GOLD.” The Pert Mint’s 125th Anniversary is identified through the “P125” mint mark on the left and the banner which read: “1899 THE PERTH MINT 2024,”
