The Design

The accompanying inscriptions read “AUSTRALIAN EMU,” “2024,” “1 oz 9999 GOLD,” referring to the coin’s weight, purity, and year of issuance. The “P125” mint mark on the left indicates the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.

As an additional anti-counterfeiting measure, each coin bears a micro-laser-engraved letter within the design, which is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
