The Design

The inscriptions that encircle the former Monarch’s effigy read: “ELIZABETH II,” “1952-2022”, standing for Her Reign’s duration, “AUSTRALIA 2023”, for origin and year of issuance, “10 DOLLARS,” for the face value, and “10 oz 9999 Ag,” for weight, fineness, and metal content.
The reverse design showcases a Kangaroo with its joey in the Australian outbacks, their natural habitat. The only mark on the image is the “P” corresponding to the Perth Mint’s mark.
