The 5th release to the wildly popular "The Awakening" Series features an incredible design with intricate detailing throughout. Beginning in 2021, this series has showcased a variety of designs that all approach the named theme from unique topical perspectives. This 2 oz High Relief Silver Round is named "War Horse" and is a modern application of the iconic Trojan Horse from Homer's Iliad. The famous structure was said to have been used by the Greeks in the Trojan War to enter the city of Troy, completely undetected. This design offers a contemporary parallel to this exact phenomenon. Modern technology, primarily cell phones, possess an alarming ability to track and store private personal data and act as a wolf in sheep's clothing, harvesting and selling a myriad of data that directly threatens personal privacy and security.

On the obverse is a tall, imposing Trojan Horse. The striking likeness is constructed of a mix of materials ranging from wood to the silicon wafers that make microchips. Towering high above the viewer, this hybrid Trojan War Horse stands atop a cell phone, the very vessel that we gladly involve in every aspect of our lives.
