Buy2021 1/2 oz NGC MS-70 ER Type 2 American Gold Eagle Coin Online
The US Mint uses half a troy ounce of 22 karat gold bullion to create the half-ounce gold eagle. Within the first month of the 2020 gold eagles being minted, these individual coins were shipped off to NGC, which is denoted by the "Early Launches" that would be plainly seen on the exterior of the coin slab. NGC rated these eagles as being in MS-70 shape, which indicates that there is zero damage to the coin except under high-powered magnification. Half ounce gold eagle coins are not the only available size graded by NGC, they grade all other fractional sizes that can be found in our category of graded gold eagle coins.
The Graded Gold Eagle Coin obverse design shows Lady Liberty boldly striding ahead with a torch in her left hand and an olive branch in her right hand. The coin's circumference is lined with six-pointed stars. With the word "LIBERTY" minted at the very top of the coin, 2021 will be minted to the right of it.
The brand new design for the 2021 Gold Eagle depicts a portrait of an eagle. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “50 DOLLARS,” and “1 OZ. FINE GOLD.” Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) designer Jennie Norris created the design that was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon.
