With an olive branch in her right hand and a torch in her left, the obverse of this gold eagle coin shows Lady Liberty proudly striding ahead. The coin's rim is filled with six-pointed stars. 2021 is minted along with the word "LIBERTY" at the very top of the coin.
The brand new reverse design for the 2021 Gold Eagles depicts a portrait of an eagle. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “50 DOLLARS,” and “1 OZ. FINE GOLD.” Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) designer Jennie Norris created the design that was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon.
