The Design

The word “LIBERTY” arches over the image, the Capitol Building is imprinted on the lower left, and the year of the coin’s issuance is on the right. The symbolism refers to the nation’s progress toward enlightenment and peace. 

Miley Busiek’s nesting Bald Eagles features the reverse and is accompanied by the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” the face value of “10 DOLLARS” and “1/4 OZ FINE GOLD.”
