These coins, in particular, are Proof Silver Eagles meticulously struck at the West Point Mint and featuring the “W” mint mark. PCGS graded them as PR-69 coins.

The Design

The reverse depicts the Eagle carrying the national seal on its chest, arrows and olive branches in its talons, and a banner with the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” on its beak. The thirteen stars atop represent the Thirteen Colonies.

The coin’s face value, weight, metal content, and purity inscriptions read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
