2016 NGC MS-69 DPL Early Releases 5 oz America The Beautiful Harpers Ferry Silver Coin
From 2010 to 2021, the US Mint manufactured silver coins to compose the America The Beautiful Quarter Program. It aimed to release five coins annually, each containing 5 Troy oz of 99.9% fine silver, featuring America’s most emblematic parks, monuments, and forests.
The Harpers Ferry Silver Coin is the third strike of the 2016 edition and the 33rd in the series.
Harpers Ferry National Historical Park is located at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers in West Virginia, and it became a national site in 1944. This park is historically relevant as it witnessed the first successful application of interchangeable manufacture, the arrival of the first successful American railroad, John Brown’s attack on slavery, the largest surrender of Federal troops during the Civil War, and the education of former slaves in one of the earliest integrated schools in the US.
SD Bullion has in stock 2016 5 oz America the Beautiful Harpers Ferry Silver Coins with a deep proof-like appearance. These coins were purchased from the US Mint within the first 30 days of their official release and graded by NGC as MS-69 Early Releases coins.
