2015 PCGS MS-69 DMPL 5 oz America The Beautiful Homestead Silver Coin
The US Mint launched the America the Beautiful Quarter Program to celebrate the country’s natural wonders and historical legacy.
Beginning in 2010, the program produced 56 remarkable silver coins through 2021. The Homestead Silver Coin, the first release of the 2015 series and the 26th in the collection commemorates the Homestead National Monument of America.
Established in 1936, this monument tells the inspiring story of early pioneers and underscores the transformative impact of the Homestead Act of 1862. The act granted free land to individuals, helping them achieve the American dream of land ownership.
The Heritage Center, with its unique architectural design, was inaugurated in 2007 and provides a scenic hilltop view of the tallgrass prairie, evoking the landscapes once traversed by American pioneers.
At SD Bullion, you can acquire the 2015 5 oz America The Beautiful Homestead Silver Coin in a deep mirror-proof-like appearance. It was graded by PCGS as MS-69 DMPL coins.

A PCGS MS-69 DMPL Coin
Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) works independently of sovereign mints. It evaluates and grades coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which rates coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 69 is attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
According to PCGS, DMPL stands for Deep Mirror Proof-Like and refers to coins struck for circulation but with unusual mirror-like fields and frosted design details that are very similar to Proof coins.
