The Design

The 2015 reverse design depicts the Australian koala in its natural habitat, perched on an eucalyptus trunk. The engravings on the bottom correspond to the coin’s description of mintage, weight, purity, and metal content as “2015 2 oz 9999 GOLD,” and on top, the series name “AUSTRALIAN KOALA.”
