The Maple Leaf Series is one of the most traditional coin series in the market.

Since its first release in 1988, the Royal Canadian Mint has boosted the production of Maple Leaf gold and silver coins with different sizes and finishes, enhancing the collection.

These coins, in particular, are Silver Maple Leafs from the 2013 edition. They contain 1 Troy oz of 99.99% pure silver and are imprinted with a Snake Privy Mark.

The Design

The reverse displays the iconic maple leaf, a national symbol. Along with the country’s name, “CANADA,” on the upper rim, the coin’s information is in English and French, the official languages. They read: “9999,” “FINE SILVER,” “1 OZ,” “ARGENT PUR,” and “9999.”

The Snake Privy mark is on the lower left.
