2011 NGC MS-69 PL 5 oz America The Beautiful Olympic Silver Coin
The America The Beautiful Quarter Program debuted in the numismatic market in 2010. Until 2021, the US Mint delivered this special themed series of five-ounce silver coins imprinted with America’s emblematic parks, forests, and monuments.
The Olympic Silver Coin was the third coin released in 2011 and the eighth in the series.
Olympic National Park, located in Washington, was designated a national site in 1897. The park features a diverse landscape, including coastline, rugged peaks, meadows, lakes, scattered forests, and steep forested slopes that lead into broad, U-shaped valleys. Spanning nearly one million acres, the park's unique geology, climate, isolation, history, and vast size contribute to its relatively intact ecosystems. It serves as a valuable living laboratory for numerous plant and animal species while also protecting over 70 miles of Pacific Ocean beaches.
SD Bullion offers 2011 5 oz America The Beautiful Olympics Silver Coins in a proof-like appearance, sealed and certified by NGC as MS-69 PL coins.

An NGC MS-69 PL Coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is globally acclaimed for evaluating and grading coins with the Sheldon Grading Scale, which rates coins from 1 to 70 based on their condition.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins that have never circulated. 69 is the grade attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
PL refers to a Proof-like finish, describing coins that exhibit mirrored fields that resemble Proof coins but are actually bullion coins.
