Encased in a secure plastic slab by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation), every 2010-W American Silver Eagle Proof coin is graded a perfect PF-70 grade, in addition to an Ultra Cameo designation. Attractive NGC brown labels showcase the grades given to these coins, silver purity and weight, their diameter, and the year of issue.


Coins with Ultra Cameo designations display a uniquely high contrast between the design and mirror finished surfaces of the silver. Each of these 2010-W American Silver Eagle Proof coins contains 1 troy ounce of 0.999 pure silver. Moreover, they are recognized as legal tender in the United States with a $1 (USD) face value.


The inscriptions “Liberty,” “In God We Trust,” and the year of its release, “2010,” can be seen on the obverses of these proof coins. However, the centerpiece of this side remains the beautiful rendition of Lady Liberty, popularly known as the Walking Liberty design. This portrayal was created in 1916 by the renowned sculptor, Adolph A. Weinman.


John Mercanti, the twelfth Chief Engraver of the United States Mint created the design that graces the reverse of this coin, a symbol of American pride, the Heraldic Bald Eagle, wings spread behind a striped shield.
