2010 NGC MS-69 Early Releases 5 oz America the Beautiful Yellowstone Silver Coin
Yellowstone was the second national park stamped on the America The Beautiful collection in 2010. The America The Beautiful Quarter Program consists of crafting five quarter dollar coins annually containing 5 Troy oz of 99.9% fine silver and America’s most iconic natural sites.
The Yellowstone Silver Coin was the second coin released in 2010 and also the second in the series.
Yellowstone National Park, located in Wyoming, was first established as a national site in 1872. It hosts a diverse array of wildlife, such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. The park also preserves Old Faithful and a remarkable collection of the world’s most extraordinary geysers.
