The obverse design is a standard in the series and features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. It is surrounded by the Chinese inscription for “People’s Republic of China” and the year of issuance, “2008,” at the bottom.
The additional silver medal features the Rat design on one side while the other imprints the Temple of Heaven accompanied by the inscription “1 oz .999 Ag 2008.”
An NCG MS-69 coin
NGC - Numismatic Guaranty Company is internationally recognized for appraising and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70 based on their condition.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins that have never circulated. 69 is the grade attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
