From 2004 to 2011, the Provincial Floral Series portrayed native flowers in exceptionally .99999 pure gold coins of limited mintage.

The Western Red Lily is one of the native flowers that embellish Canadian native gardens. It was imprinted in the 2005 edition of the Provincial Floral Series at a minimal strike of 1,634 coins.
