1 oz Gonzales Cannon Silver Round
The Gonzales Cannon Silver Round is part of the “Don’t Mess with Texas” Series from Intaglio Mint.
The series brings one-ounce rounds of 99.9% fine silver imprinted with iconic Texas symbols. The Gonzales Cannon is the fourth strike of the series, which has already featured the Alamo, the Longhorn, the Bluebonnet, and the Armadillo.
The history of the Gonzales cannon dates back to the Texas Revolution in 1835, and it was the object of dispute between a Mexican military detachment and American colonists located in Texas, which led to the battle of Gonzales, the fuse for the Revolution.
Today, you can elevate your holding by purchasing Intaglio Mint’s 1 oz Gonzales Cannon Silver Round from SD Bullion.

The reverse design is standard for the series and showcases the skull of a longhorn, with a star centered on its forehead and flanked by oak and olive branches.
The series name is engraved at the bottom rim, “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS,” around an inner circle, followed by the round’s weight, metal content, and fineness, micro-engraved as “ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER” at the border.
