The artwork for this 7 part mini series was executed by former US Mint Coin Designer, Joel Iskowitz, and struck in a stunning Reverse Proof finish by Scottsdale Mint.

Of these 2,000 coins, only 400 complete 7-piece matching numbered sets have been assembled. Each set contains a total of 35 oz of .999 fine silver and is housed in a custom album with each set’s individual serial number matching the serial number on each of the 7 pieces. 

Individual releases will be launched on a weekly basis. The Design

The reverse design is shared across all seven Reverse Proofs and centers on an all-seeing eye positioned above a pyramid, a recurring motif throughout the series. Surrounding the pyramid are seven demonic figures, each symbolizing one of the Seven Deadly Sins. The series title, “THE AWAKENING,” arches above the central imagery, while the banner “ANNUIT COEPTIS” appears beneath, echoing the phrase found on the Great Seal of the United States and meaning “God has favored our undertakings.” Inscriptions along the lower portion include the round’s metal content and purity, reading “.999 SILVER 5 TROY OZ,” along with the phrase “YOU CAN’T WAKE A PERSON WHO IS PRETENDING TO BE ASLEEP.”

The obverse of each Reverse Proof features a distinct, highly detailed personification of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Each design conveys the nature of its respective vice through dramatic posture, symbolism, and expression. The only inscription on the obverse identifies the sin being portrayed, allowing the artwork itself to remain the focal point.
