2025 PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin - Flag Label
The US Gold Eagle was the first gold coin introduced under the American Eagle Program and serves as the official gold bullion coin of the United States.
Minted from 22k gold, each coin contains a full troy ounce of pure gold. It is alloyed with 3% silver and 5.33% copper for enhanced durability, resulting in a slightly larger size than standard one-ounce gold coins.
This particular release features 2025 Gold Eagles, purchased directly from the US Mint on their release day. These coins were sealed and certified by PCGS and feature the exclusive flag label.
The Flag Label incorporates the United States flag, the coin's grade, certification details, and a unique serial number, adding an extra layer of distinction to the collection.
SD Bullion offers 2025 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coins graded by PCGS as MS-70 First Day of Issue coins and sealed with the Flag Label.

A PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue coin
PCGS (Professional Coins Grading Service) appraises and certifies coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.
PCGS considers a “First Day of Issue” coin a sample purchased from its original mint on the first day of its official release and submitted to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no flaws, which grants it a 70 grade.
