The Design

The obverse design features the Coat of Arms of Niue and inscriptions describing the coin’s face value and the year of issuance.

The reverse showcases a frontal close-up of a Ram. The Hebrew lettering “ישוע” above the animal’s depiction means Yeshua (Jesus) and identifies it as the Lamb or Son of God, hence the coin’s moniker.

The hidden message of the Scriptures, the series’ trademark, is micro-engraved on the animal’s horn, "To be saved"—drawn from 1 Timothy 2:4. The inscriptions regarding the coin's weight, metal content, and purity are also included.
