The Design

The front design, created by Jody Clark, features Una and the Lion. It draws inspiration from William Wyon's classic "Una and the Lion" design used in a previous Royal Mint coin series.

Clark's landscape orientation design is a first for the Royal Mint’s bars. It shows Una and her loyal lion in motion, set against a decorative background pattern, with the inscription "DIRIGE DEUS GRESSUS MEOS" ("May God direct my steps") at the bottom.

The same background pattern appears on the other side, with the Royal Mint logo on the left and the bar's key details—weight, metal content, and purity—on the right, reading "10 oz 999.9 FINE SILVER."
