The Royal Canadian Mint prepares the Treasure Maple Leaf limited edition for commemorative occasions.

It consists of a Gold Maple Leaf coin imprinted with a privy mark and encased in an alluring custom-designed special-themed package.

The Polar Bear Privy Mark is one of the impressions used to celebrate King Charles III's ascendance to the leadership of the British Commonwealth Community.

In addition to the privy mark, this 1/10 oz gold coin features the standard RCM advanced security measures.

The Design

Artist Steven Rosati created the new obverse design with King Charles III. In addition to the monarch’s name on top, the engravings relate to the coin’s denomination and issuance through “5 DOLLARS 2025.”

The traditional Walter Ott’s Maple Leaf reverse design is completed with “CANADA” on top and the coin’s weight, metal content, and fineness in English and French. They read: “9999 FINE GOLD 1/10 OZ OR PUR 9999.”

The Polar Bear privy mark showcases two caring polar bears and is encircled on the lower left.
