The Design

The obverse features the Coat of Arms of Niue, accompanied by the coin’s face value, described as “250 DOLLARS,” and the year of mintage.

The reverse showcases a battle sword before a shield encircled by a framed belt. Weight, purity, and metal content descriptions read “ONE TROY OUNCE” and “9995 FINE PLATINUM.”

The hidden message, a trademark of the series, is the micro-engraved inscription on the sword's hilt. And the Hebrew lettering “רוח קודש” on the shield means “Holy Spirit.” 

A second circle of thorny vines, resembling a crown of thorns, is on the border. The tip of the sword holds a serpent.
