The Design

The obverse design features the National Seal of Niue, along with the denomination "TEN DOLLARS" and the mintage year "2024." 

The Sword of Truth design is at its centre, showcasing a battle sword set before a shield. As is characteristic of the series, part of a biblical message is hidden in the design, with a micro-engraved inscription on the sword's hilt. 

The Hebrew phrase “רוח קודש,” meaning “Holy Spirit,” is engraved on the shield. 

The inscriptions "FIVE TROY OUNCES" and "9999 FINE SILVER," indicating the coin's weight, purity, and metal content, are framed by a belt. A circle of thorny vines, symbolizing a crown of thorns, borders the entire reverse image.

The large size of the 5 oz coin, combined with its high-relief design, highlights the intricate details, creating a striking 3-D effect, down to the sword’s tip piercing a snake.
