The Design

The obverse design brings the Coat of Arms of Niue in a central position, with the coin’s face value described as “250 DOLLARS” on top and the year of mintage, "2024," on the bottom.

The Sword of Truth design is on the reverse, featuring a battle sword before a shield. 

This image is encircled by a framed belt, added by the inscriptions regarding the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content description. They read: “ONE TROY OUNCE” and “9995 FINE PLATINUM.”

The hidden message, a trademark of the series, is the micro-engraved inscription on the sword's hilt. And the Hebrew lettering “רוח קודש” on the shield means “Holy Spirit.” 

A second circle of thorny vines is on the border, resembling a crown of thorns.

Because it is a reverse-proof coin, its surface has a frosted aspect, while the images engraved over it are oppositely bright. That makes design details more vivid and perceptible against the matte background.
