The Design

The obverse of these coins is an exact replica of the Fender® Jaguar Guitar, as famously played by grunge rock idol Kurt Cobain. The design is beautifully highlighted by the colors, texture, and glossy finish applied to the coin’s surface.

The engravings on this side correspond to the guitar’s name, “JAGUAR,” on the headstock and the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content at the bottom, which read: “1 oz 999.9 Ag.”

The reverse design features Queen Elizabeth II’s right profile, created by Ian Rank-Broadley, overlapping a cubic pattern backdrop.
