The Gold Maple Leaf Series presents its new obverse, showcasing King Charles III in an elegant left-profile bust for the first time. Besides the image, the engravings around it read “CHARLES III,” “1 DOLLAR,” and “2024.”

The traditional maple leaf image stamps the reverse. The national symbol appears in a central position with the inscriptions: “CANADA,” “9999,” “FINE GOLD,” 1/20 OZ,” “OR PUR,” and “9999,” referring to the coin’s origin, metal content, purity, and weight, in English and French.

A smaller maple leaf coin lies on the lower right with the year of mintage’s last two digits micro-engraved as a security feature. 

The RCM Bullion DNA
