The Design
The obverse design consists of a frontal depiction of Jesus, portrayed as a teacher in the image. He has his right hand raised while he holds a book with his left. This book has the Greek letters Alpha and Omega engraved, referring to Jesus and God in the Book of Revelations.
The Coat of Arms of Samoa covers the reverse side. The inscriptions “SAMOA” and “2023” are on top, while the coin’s face value of “1 TALA” is on the bottom.
The coin’s information regarding weight, metal content, and purity are split on both sides and read “1/2 TROY OUNCE” and “999 FINE SILVER.”
Because it is a proof-like coin, it exhibits a shiny brightness, which enriches its appearance.
