SD Bullion is now proudly offering the third 2020 piece of Scottsdale Mint’s Biblical Coin Series. This creative and captivating series now contains 33 coins featuring various stories from the Bible. Each beautiful scene contains elegant details depicting each narrative in a lifelike manner and it is all thanks to the master French artist, Gustave Doré. The Biblical Series coins add great value to any collection as each coin is produced with limited mintage and high-relief design.
The current coin of the series, Fiery Furnace, contains 2 troy ounces of silver with .999 fine silver purity. Each coin comes in a gift box that resembles an antique Bible as well as a COA card from Scottsdale Mint, ensuring its authenticity. The COA card also features the Bible verse associated with the coin’s image. The Fiery Furnace COA card includes the verse of Daniel 3:28 which states: Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
The obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II with words around the edge of the coin including “NIUE TWO DOLLARS,” “2020,” “2 OZ 999 FINE SILVER,” and “ QUEEN ELIZABETH II.”
The reverse side beautifully depicts the Fiery Furnace scene where Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are in the fiery pit and as King Nebuchadnezzar and his soldiers look down upon them. The beauty of the story is that they are not burning, serving as a testimony of God’s provision and protection and this coin beautifully depicts this scene of God’s faithfulness.
