America The Beautiful is a silver coin program started by the United States Mint in 2010. Since then, the Mint has issued 5 quarter-dollar silver coins under this program every year - each featuring beautiful national parks and natural sites in the United States.
Each of these coins contains 5 troy ounces of 0.999 pure silver. Moreover, they are assigned legal tender status as well, with face values of Quarter Dollars ($0.25).
