The Design

The obverse replicates Adolph A. Weinman's “Winged Liberty” design, originally found on the Mercury Dime coin.

Inspired by the 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal, the reverse depicts a Bald Eagle perched on a cliff holding a branch.
