The Design

The reverse features a family of Bald Eagles portrayal: a female eagle nurturing her hatchling under her wing while the male stands guard on their nest.
The accompanying inscriptions read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” the mottos “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.” It also features weight, metal content, and face value, which reads “1/4 OZ. FINE GOLD—10 DOLLARS.”
