An NGC MS-70 coin
NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) appraises and grades coins based on their condition, using the Sheldon Scale, which ranges from 1 to 70, independently from sovereign mints.
MS or Mint State refers to a piece with the same format as a widespread circulation coin that remained uncirculated. Grade 70 is attributed to flawless coins.
