The Sovereign gold coin made its debut in the Tudor Era, introducing a one-of-a-kind 20-shilling gold coin.
Over the years, the series has also stamped relevant historical moments, like the rise of Queen Elizabeth II to the throne and her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
This coin set is composed of the four 22k gold coins of the series: a Quintuple Sovereign (five Pounds), a Double Sovereign (two pounds), a Full Sovereign (one Pound) and a Half Sovereign (ten Shillings).

The Design
