1957 Mexican Constitution Centennial Gold Medal

The 1957 Mexican Constitution Centennial Gold Medal was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the landmark 1857 Constitution, a defining moment in Mexico’s legal and political history.

Today, you can find 1957 Mexican Constitution Centennial Gold Medals at SD Bullion.

Product Highlights

  • Contains 1.2057 troy oz of .900 fine gold;

  • Produced by the Mexican Mint;

The Design

The obverse depicts a feminine figure holding a book inscribed “CONSTITUCION 1857” over the map of Mexico, with sun rays in the background. The design is inscribed with “PRIMER CENTENARIO DE LA CONSTITUCIÓN DE 1857.”
